I sat down on-camera with Patriots Day starsJimmy O. this contentYang andThemo Melikidze to talk about their roles and the real-life people they portrayed, so watch the interview below… Source: CBS Films/Lionsgate Berg’s best film so far as a director and one of the year’s very best pictures, Patriots Day is enjoying positive critical reception and strong word of mouth so far. The film is a dark horse contender for a Best Picture nomination at the Oscars but shouldbe a top candidate for both sound categories, and possibly film editing as well. I previously met with Berg and the film’s star Mark Wahlberg to discuss Patriots Day’s depictions of the terrorist attacks and the exceptional portrayal of first responders and citizens in the film. Today, I have another video for you, as I speak withJimmy O. Yang andThemo Melikidze, who portrayed Dun Meng and Tamerlan Tsarnaev in Patriots Day. Dun Meng was a citizentaken hostage by the Tsarnaev brothers who committed the Boston attacks, and Tamerlan Tsarnaev is the older of the two brothers and the main planner of the terrorist attacks.
